Unpairing a Peko Pal, or if one is lost
Unpair a Pal from its settings in the Peko Pal app (the gear on the Pal's page, then Unpair). Do this if you're giving it away, or if it's lost.
Unpairing deletes:
- the Pal's apps and their settings
- its activity history and daily usage
- Peko conversations on that Pal, and Peko's memory of them
Your child's profile, friends and messages, listening history, lessons, books and creations are kept.
The Pal erases itself the next time it's switched on and connected to WiFi: its WiFi networks, messages and downloads all go, and it waits to be set up again. If it never connects again, it can't erase itself — but it can no longer reach your family's account either.
This can't be undone. To use the Pal again, set it up from the app like a new one.
